Watch the Charles “Julio Foolio” Jones Homicide Trial — FL v. Alicia Andrews

The Florida trial of defendant Alicia Andrews of Florida rapper Julio Foolio is now being heard in Hillsborough County Court.

According to prosecutors that she worked as a lookout while Charles Jones was in Tampa for his birthday. They claim she coordinated with others who later ambushed the rapper in a Holiday Inn parking area.

Three gunmen allegedly shot at Foolio’s vehicle, fatally shooting the rapper and leaving three others hurt.

Andrews is charged with premeditated murder and Julio Foolio trial conspiracy to commit murder.

Detectives have presented forensic phone records that they say tie Andrews to the scene. This includes deleted texts and videos recovered from her online accounts.

The defense argues that she had no idea about the murder plan. Her team insists she was in Tampa for personal reasons.

The proceedings is being followed closely by the media because Julio Foolio’s death sparked controversy.

Day 6 of the trial has focused on phone evidence, with investigators explaining how they connected messages to the planning.
